Zumiez to Open New Store at Tanger Outlets Fort Worth Following Retail Remodel

A popular retailer catering to skateboarding, snowboarding, and streetwear enthusiasts is preparing to join the tenant lineup at Tanger Outlets Fort Worth. Plans have been filed for a retail store remodel that will convert an existing tenant space into a new Zumiez location at 15841 North Freeway, Suite 1125.

According to state filings, the Zumiez Tanger Outlets project involves the remodel of approximately 2,000 square feet and carries an estimated construction valuation of $175,000. Construction is expected to begin in August 2026, with completion anticipated by the end of October 2026.

The retail store remodel permit remains under plan review at the time of writing, according to City of Fort Worth permit records. Once approved, the project will prepare the space for the specialty retailer's arrival at Tanger Outlets Fort Worth, one of the region's growing shopping destinations.

State filings identify Arlington-based PDMS Design Group as the architect for the project.
