Creekside Apartments in Fort Worth Wedgwood Acquired
Another Fort Worth multifamily property has changed ownership as institutional investment activity continues across North Texas.
According to a Tarrant County deed filed in July 2026, Creekside Apartments at 6751 Westcreek Drive in the Wedgwood neighborhood of southwest Fort Worth has been acquired by Bridge Investment Group of Sandy, Utah. The multifamily acquisition transfers ownership from Ashland Greene Capital to the Utah-based real estate investment firm, which specializes in acquiring and operating apartment communities throughout the United States.
Tarrant Appraisal District records show Creekside Apartments was built in 1984 and consists of 164 studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. Residents have access to amenities including walk-in closets, vinyl plank flooring, and a community swimming pool. The multifamily real estate property carries a 2026 appraised value of approximately $14.7 million.
Publicly available information suggests the apartment community may have previously entered foreclosure proceedings before the property changed ownership, although the circumstances surrounding the transaction have not been publicly disclosed.
The property has also undergone one significant improvement in recent years. Following a fire that damaged multiple apartment units during the early 2020s, DFW-based RJK Construction Services completed a $375,000 restoration project between October 2022 and March 2023, according to City of Fort Worth building permit records.
Headquartered in Sandy, Utah, Bridge Investment Group is a leading alternative investment manager affiliated with Apollo Global Management. The firm invests across multifamily housing, workforce housing, senior housing, commercial real estate, renewable energy, and credit strategies, managing billions of dollars in assets nationwide. At this time, the company has not announced whether additional renovations or capital improvements are planned for Creekside Apartments following the multifamily acquisition.
