Freebirds World Burrito is preparing to open its first city location at Mansfield Towne Crossing, located at 1811 U.S. Hwy 287. The new restaurant will move into a 2,457-square-foot space next to GameStop, with a $100,000 renovation project scheduled to begin in December 2025. If all goes to plan, the restaurant will open its doors by May 2026.

Mansfield Towne Crossing is a 421,000+ square foot power center featuring around 27 retailers and plenty of parking with freeway visibility along U.S. 287. Current tenants include Super Target, The Home Depot, Ross Dress for Less, and Chili's, with a healthy mix of home decor, apparel, and specialty shops.
