McDonald's Restaurant Construction Moving Forward Near Stop Six in Fort Worth
A new McDonald's restaurant is planned for east Fort Worth as development activity continues near the Stop Six area.
According to state filings, the new McDonald's restaurant will be constructed at 3812 E. Loop 820 South near East Berry Street. The project calls for a 4,319-square-foot restaurant building with an estimated construction valuation of $1.5 million. Construction is expected to begin in October 2026, with completion anticipated by the end of February 2027.
The proposed development represents another investment in the Stop Six corridor, an area that has seen continued public and private investment in recent years. Once completed, the new McDonald's restaurant will provide additional dining options for residents, commuters, and visitors traveling through the area.
City permit records indicate that grading and sitework plans are currently under review. The site preparation work is an important step in advancing the project toward construction.
State filings identify Fort Worth-based JAW Architects, Inc. as the architect for the development. The firm has worked on numerous restaurant and commercial projects throughout Texas.
As the McDonald's restaurant construction project progresses through the permitting process, the development adds to ongoing commercial growth occurring throughout east Fort Worth. The new McDonald's restaurant is expected to become a highly visible addition along Loop 820 and further strengthen retail and dining offerings near Stop Six.
