$2 Million Tennis Pavilion Expansion Planned for Colonial Country Club by Summer 2026
Colonial Country Club is set to begin a $2 million expansion of its Tennis Center Pavilion in late September 2025, with completion targeted for Summer 2026. The project will add a 24,134-square-foot indoor facility designed to house tennis and pickleball play year-round.
The expansion will build upon Colonial’s existing amenities, which already include three indoor and ten outdoor tennis courts, as well as eight pickleball courts. Fort Worth–based 97w Architects is leading the design, while Hasen Design Build, also a Fort Worth firm, has been selected as the general contractor.
This project comes as part of Colonial’s broader $75 million campus-wide renovation, first approved in 2022. The multi-year plan also includes a golf course renovation scheduled for completion in 2024, with the remainder of improvements projected through 2027.
Located at 3735 Country Club Circle in Fort Worth, Colonial Country Club has long been recognized as both a prestigious golf venue — home to the PGA TOUR’s Charles Schwab Challenge — and a social hub for the city’s business and civic leaders. The ongoing upgrades are expected to not only enhance member experience but also bolster Fort Worth’s reputation as a regional destination for high-quality recreational facilities.
