Texas de Brazil Acquires Downtown Fort Worth Property Near Sundance Square
Some of downtown Fort Worth's most notable real estate transactions happen without announcements or press conferences. Instead, they quietly appear in public records, revealing strategic investments long after the paperwork has been signed. A recently filed deed suggests one such move has taken place near Sundance Square.
According to a Tarrant County deed filed on June 11, 2026, the downtown property at 101 N. Houston Street has been sold by Luskey Brothers Investments LLC to 101 N Houston Ft Worth LLC, an entity affiliated with Dallas-based Texas de Brazil.
The downtown property encompasses approximately 0.16 acre and is home to the 13,600-square-foot Texas de Brazil restaurant that has long operated near Sundance Square. Tarrant Appraisal District records value the commercial property at approximately $3 million, although the final purchase price was not disclosed in the deed records.
The deed was signed by Stephen Luskey, manager of Luskey Brothers Investments LLC. In addition to this downtown property, the company also owns the property at 2601 N. Main Street, home to Cavender's Stockyards, one of Fort Worth's best-known Western retail destinations.
The acquisition gives Texas de Brazil ownership of the downtown property occupied by its flagship Fort Worth restaurant, providing long-term control of a highly visible location in one of the city's premier entertainment and dining districts. While no redevelopment or renovation plans have been announced, the transaction reflects continued confidence in the long-term strength of Sundance Square and downtown Fort Worth commercial real estate.
Property ownership changes involving established restaurant locations often receive little public attention, but they can represent important long-term investments in the city's evolving downtown landscape. This latest transaction positions Texas de Brazil as both the restaurant operator and property owner at one of the most recognizable dining locations in downtown Fort Worth.
